Profile Summary

 

Head of Strategic Change Management (Markets Operations) has day-to-day responsibility for the management of the department’s strategic projects. Role manages 6 temporary FTE, performing Business Analyst responsibilities.

 

 

Duties and Responsibilities

 

  • Project Management for Markets Operations, responsible for planning, requirements gathering, testing and closing of projects ensuring deadlines are met and expected business outcomes are delivered.
  • Mange Markets Operations projects portfolio, working with stakeholders to deliver required outcomes, raising any risks to senior operations management and leading Operations functions through the period of change.
  • Manage Markets Operations Business Analyst resource profile to ensure all projects have sufficient support and coverage.  Working with team members to make sure all deliverables are met on-time with expected business outcomes and appropriate project artefacts.
  • Develop front-to-back understanding of Change Management function, ensuring staff have clearly defined responsibilities and fully understand the risks associated to their assigned projects.
  • Promote an inclusive culture, breaking down silo’s and building a collaborative culture within the department, and where possible, the wider Operations group.
  • Ensure the functions regulatory responsibilities are understood with processes and controls established to ensure compliance.
  • Minimise operational risk in projects, identifying weaknesses in new processes delivered, working with Operations functions, to establish remediation path for any issues.
  • Engage in Strategic Change Programmes, ensuring business outcomes are met and target operating model delivered to support business demand.
  • Partner with the Front Office to support CIB model, evaluate the go-forward operating structure and enable new business initiatives, where required.

 

 

Qualifications, Skills, and Experience

 

  • Currently Operating at Director level.
  • Strong track record of managing large change programmes throughout career.
  • Supported senior front office stakeholders and corporate functions when delivering target operating models.
  • Proven ability to operate at a senior level within Operations and/or other logistics functions.
  • Proven track record of managing change in a cross-cultural environment.
  • Experience of managing multiple streams of change delivery, with demonstrable benefits
  • Strong knowledge of all relevant regulation impacting the industry and its impact on Operations
  • Strong presentation and influencing skills, demonstrating ability to deliver through all levels of the corporate spectrum.
  • Strong knowledge of Global Markets, front-to-back processes flows, products & supporting Operations department.
