Profile Summary

The Markets Research and Development Europe Desk (MRDDE) sits within the European Treasury Department (ETD) which is responsible for Asset & Liability Management operations and Forex business in the EMEA region. Both the sales & trading and banking activities conducted are for branches and subsidiaries across the EMEA region.

MRDDE’s role will assist in developing strategic and operational plans and deliver solution with respect to system and business solutions in consultation with other desks including Tokyo, New York and Singapore. 

Ideal candidates will be a proactive, high ability to absorb business and technical knowledge, and ability to develop applications that meet requirements and to provide quality support to it.

 

Duties and Responsibilities

  • Assist develop and deliver business solutions through End User Computing development for ETD and EMEA Treasury centres.
  • Project coordination and to deal with In-house IT and external vendors to deliver the End User Computing development.
  • Support to introduce new system to Treasury and to enhance the system and related End User computing system.
  • Deliver support on MRDD created End User Computing system as well as existing ETD application.

Qualifications, Skills and Experience

Required

  • University degree or equivalent
  • Build business relationship with senior management and those who involved in the project member.
  • Strong communication skills. (Hearing to understand users requirements or existing issues, explanation, presentation.)
  • Have the ability to self-examine/self-investigate especially when facing technical issues which no one in ETD and MRDDE knows and get conclusion.
  • Basic skill of MS Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint)
  • Experience on using Data base and scripting skill SQL
  •  programming skill (C# as minimum requirement and python as preferred)

Preferred

  • Experience on working in data/service critical working environment.
  • Experience in data analysis project in financial institutions.
